Eagles have 3 players make the first-ever ‘All-Pro team’ voted on only by players

NFL players wanted more say in the postseason award process and on Wednesday, the NFLPA unveiled the first annual Players All-Pro Team for the 2022 season.

Philadelphia had the NFL’s best record for most of the season and was rewarded with three players making the list, with two coming from the dominant offensive line.

Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson landed on the list, while Darius Slay was the lone representative from the Eagles’ stout defense.

NOTE: PLAYERS WHO MISSED 5 OR MORE GAMES AS OF WEEK 15 WERE INELIGIBLE.

C.J. Gardner-Johnson missed out on the Pro Bowl and now Players’ All-Pro votes after he missed five weeks with a lacerated kidney.

This season Kelc allowed 0 sacks, 0 QB hits allowed and 8 pressures allowed, while not allowing a single pressure in the fourth quarter this year.

Johnson allowed just nine pressures in 15 games before injury caused him to miss the final two weeks of the season.

Johnson did not surrender a sack or a hit all season and has gone almost two full seasons without.

Slay has the seventh-best passer rating in the NFL among cornerbacks this season and he’ll be the player to watch in the NFC playoffs against some talented wide receivers.
