The Eagles announced on Thursday that they have elevated tight end C.J. Uzomah from the practice squad for tonight’s game against the Washington Commanders.
The move was made after Philadelphia waived Jack Stoll to make room on the roster for Jordan Mailata.

Uzomah will be the third tight end behind Dallas Goedert and Grant Calcaterra. This will be Uzomah’s first regular season game with the Eagles after spending time on and off the active roster after signing with the team in free agency.
A fifth-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2015 NFL Draft, the ten-year veteran has 192 catches for 1,881 yards and 16 touchdowns in 106 career regular-season games (82 starts) with the Bengals and the Jets. Uzomah was initially signed by the Eagles as a free agent in April and rejoined the team on the practice squad in October.
The Eagles will announce their gameday inactive list at 6:45 PM.
