The Eagles announced that rookie cornerback Mekhi Garner will be elevated from the practice squad for Monday night’s game against the Seahawks.
Pro Bowl cornerback Darius Slay, who underwent arthroscopic knee surgery last week, will miss a few weeks, and Kelee Ringo will make his first career NFL start in his place.
Garner was previously elevated for the games against the Jets and the Dolphins. In his NFL debut, Garner played 23 snaps on defense (35%) against New York.

Philadelphia will also miss starting linebacker Zach Cunningham and starting right guard Cam Jurgens. Shaquille Leonard’s role as a linebacker is expected to expand alongside Nicholas Morrow. Sirianni said the Eagles prepared Tyler Steen and Sua Opeta to play at right guard.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts, who traveled to Seattle separately from the team, is questionable for tonight’s game with an illness.
