Jalen Carter exited Sunday’s win over Washington with a back injury, and he’ll have a Monday morning MRI, according to Jeff McLane of The Inquirer.
A leading Defensive Rookie of the Year candidate, Carter had one tackle and a QB hit before exiting Sunday’s game.
#Eagles DT Jalen Carter will undergo an MRI on his back tomorrow morning, an NFL source said.
The rookie left in the second half of the Eagles’ 38-31 win over the Commanders. He was seen walking around without apparent distress after the game.

Philadelphia has a massive Week 9 matchup at Dallas on the horizon.
If Carter can’t play against the Cowboys, the Eagles still have Jordan Davis and Fletcher Cox starting in the defensive interior.
Milton Williams has been stout along the defensive interior.
