The Eagles took down the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium during a highly anticipated Monday Night Football showdown. After the game, Philadelphia’s social media team poked fun at Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop music star Taylor Swift after Monday night’s win in Kansas City.
The team’s official Instagram had some fun at the expense of the star tight end, who, of course, is dating Swift, and posted a photo of a friendship bracelet which included beads with letters that spelled out, “Eagles Win.”
Additionally, the funny and somewhat petty social media post was captioned, “In our winning era,” adding another layer to the friendly jab at Kelce and Swift.
During a past episode of the Kelce brother’s podcast, Travis admitted that, prior to their relationship, he had tried to get in contact with Swift by putting his phone number on a friendship bracelet that he sent to her.
As was mentioned on the broadcast, Swift was not in attendance for the game at Arrowhead Stadium while taking part in her Eras Tour in Brazil.
Her absence didn’t dissuade the Eagles’ social team from cracking a joke about her and the Chiefs' star tight end as Philadelphia celebrated a victory that saw the team improve to a league-best 9–1.
