Evans is eligible to return this week against the Chiefs.
He spent the past month on Injured Reserve after injuring his knee in the team’s Week 5 win over the Rams.
Evans also missed Week 4 with a neck injury.
In four games this season, Evans has had 14 tackles, two pass deflections, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
Signed OL Lecitus Smith to the practice squad
The Cardinals drafted Smith in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Virginia Tech. During his rookie season, he played in 10 games, starting two.
After being released by the Cardinals during final roster cuts before this season, Smith briefly spent time on the Texans’ practice squad.
Signed TE Noah Togiai to the practice squad
Togiai will begin third stint with the team. The tight end was signed by the Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2020, but was waived during final roster cuts.
He rejoined the team in 2021, spending time on the practice squad and active roster until the end of last season. While not in Midnight Green, Togiai has spent time with the Colts, Cardinals, and Raiders.
Togiai has played in seven NFL games.
