Eagles and Commanders are on a postseason collision course

Philadelphia exited Northwest Stadium on Sunday with a nasty taste in their mouths after a 36-33 loss to the Commanders in Week 16.

The Eagles (12-3) likely lost out on the No. 1 seed in the NFC, but they’ll likely have a shot at gaining some revenge on the Commanders (10-5) in the postseason. If the season ended today, Philadelphia (2nd seed) and Washington (7th seed) would meet at Lincoln Financial Field in an NFC Wild Card Game.

Washington will finish with Atlanta and Dallas, while Philadelphia will finish with Dallas and the New York Giants.

Detroit or Minnesota will be the NFC’s top seed, and the season finale will likely decide the winner.
