Eagles acquire WR Jahan Dotson from Commanders in exchange for draft picks

We had a wide receiver from the Commanders make the list of potential Eagles trade targets, but it wasn’t a former Penn State pass catcher.

Adam Schefter reports that Philadelphia will acquire former Nittany Lions wideout Jahan Dotson via trade on Thursday morning. Washington is sending Dotson and a fifth-round pick to the Eagles in exchange for a 2025 third-round pick and two seventh-round picks.

Dotson, 24, was a 2022 first-round pick from Penn State, and he had 49 catches for 518 yards and four touchdowns as a rookie.

Last season, Dotson logged 35 catches for 523 yards and seven touchdowns and arrives in Philadelphia as the clear No. 3 wide receiver.
