Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown could be seen in what appeared to be a heated discussion with quarterback Jalen Hurts during the fourth quarter of Philadelphia’s win over the Vikings.
While Philadelphia picked up a victory in its home opener, Brown appeared frustrated along the sideline while talking with Hurts. The wide receiver could be seen shaking his head throughout their conversation.
Coach Nick Sirianni eventually walked over and intervened, getting in between the two star players and appearing to attempt to settle Brown down.
At the time, Brown had just three receptions for 17 yards, and he ended the evening with four catches for 29 yards. Hurts targeted him a team-high six times during the game.

Hurts was asked about the incident during Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football Nightcap.
“I think just for us, he’s a hell of a player and that’s my best friend. That’s my best friend, I'll just say that,” said Hurts. “We’ll just continue to grow. Continue to grow and put winning first. That’s the number one thing for us.”
The Eagles held out for a 34–28 victory during the prime-time game, improving to 2–0 on the year. While it wasn’t Brown’s most dominant night, his team walked away with a win.
In Week 1 against the Patriots, Brown caught seven passes on 10 targets for 79 yards. Through the first two weeks of the season, he remains without a touchdown reception. Last year, he tied his career high with 11 touchdowns.
