Eagles 28-23 win over Cowboys in Week 9 was most-watched NFL game this season

The Eagles are a gold standard franchise in the NFL, and the Cowboys are allegedly ‘America’s Team,’ so when two hated rivals get together, it’s all big business.

Philadelphia defeated Dallas 28-23 in a thrilling Sunday afternoon showdown that was a box office success for the NFL on Fox.

According to Fox Sports, the Eagles’ win over the Cowboys in Week 9 attracted over 27 million viewers, making it the most-watched NFL game this season on any TV network.

The massive win for Philadelphia was up +34% from last year, and the Eagles were again a part of the most watched football game since their Super Bowl LVII loss to Kansas City.
