Eagle eyed Selling Sunset fans think they've spotted an embarrassing error in Netflix show

Eagle eyed Selling Sunset viewers took to Twitter after they found what they thought to be a huge filming blunder.

The hit show returned to Netflix screens this week with its fifth season, and thousands of eager fans have already binged the entire series.

However, some viewers of the programme claimed that the latest episodes of the real estate show proved that it is, in fact, scripted.

In one clip, brokerage owner Jason can be seen taking what is supposed to be a call from an important client.

But on further inspection, viewers noticed that the phone held up to Jason's ear had the camera app opened, causing them to believe that the successful businessman was not on a call at all.

Sharing an image of the alleged 'blunder' one Twitter user wrote: "My vibe today is Jason talking to his camera pretending to call a client".

A second wrote: "There's a lot of bot accounts trying to deflect. It's a TV show that uses multiple cameras and multiple takes. He got caught out. It didn't go to camera mode when he was on the phone 'talking' to a client. He wasn't talking to a client. Good catch lana".

"The way so many people are fighting against the fact that this show could possibly be fake. (It is.)" another said.

However, the majority of viewers were quick to defend the show as they highlighted that calls can still be made while other apps are open.

They said: "Do you not realise you can be on a phone call and in an app at the same time bestie".

"You guys are aware you can still be on a call but on a different page, app…" wrote a second.

While a third commented: "iPhones now and for a couple of years the phone call doesn't show on the screen, only a small notification box at the top. You can be on any other app…"

"I'm not saying it can't be fake, but this doesn't prove it is. I've had my camera open plenty of times on a call. Lol. But I'm sure they make up calls!", a fourth said.
