Eagle eyed RTE viewers noticed Leo Varadkar photobomb Willie Mullins' RTE interview.

Mullins was speaking on the national broadcaster after he was in the winners circle at Leopardstown.

Mullins trained Facile Vega with the 2/9 favourite racing to Paddy Power Future Novices Hurdle victory.

And while Mullins spoke to RTE, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar slipped behind the horse trainer as he walked through the winners circle.

And the pair were seen deep in conversation just moments before.

Varadkar was seen with Facile Vaga and was snapped at the event.

Leopardstown kicked off for day two in front of packed crowds on Tuesday.
