Married At First Sight (MAFS) sleuths have unearthed a hilarious television cameo featuring 2025’s polarising bride Morena Farina. Honestly, it’s just proof that this diva was destined for Aussie TV.
It’s no secret that a bunch of MAFS 2025 participants have been on television before. Some of the castmates who fall in that category include Teejay Halkias who was on Big Brother Australia, Paul Antoine who was on the first season of The Love Boat AU and Sierah Swepstone, who competed for Jimmy Nicholson‘s heart on The Bachelor in 2021.
But now, with season 12 coming to a close, it appears that list might be bigger than we imagined.
Recently, an eagle-eyed viewer spotted 2025 bride Morena Farina — who was matched to Tony Mojanovski — on an old episode of Deal or No Deal.
In a cheeky Reddit post to r/MAFS_AU, a Redditor shared a photo of Morena, asking folks for confirmation of her identity.
“Was just watching an old episode of Deal or No Deal and thought I saw Morena in the crowd in pink. Is it her??” u/Natdog21 wrote.
Shortly after the post, U/Natdog21’s thread lit up with fellow MAFS Redditors who were sure it was the 2025 bride, claiming that it was her son Stefan seated next to her. However, some Redditors made jabs at the 57-year-old due to how she was portrayed on the show.
“Yes, that’s Morena and her son,” one Redditor commented.
“Hard to tell, she’s smiling,” another wrote.
“Definitely her. That’s her son next to her,” another wrote.
The Reddit post comes days after a Nine News segment featuring 2025 fan-favourite Jamie Marinos resurfaced on social media.
Per Yahoo! Lifestyle, Jamie was on the news several years ago after the store she managed was robbed.
Honestly, it’s so much fun seeing which MAFS participants have been on TV before appearing on the show. You can really tell whether they’re there for love or fame.
But with a majority of the cast jumping on dating reality TV shows, I reckon they could be looking for both.
However, in the case of Jamie and Morena, I reckon they were there for the ‘right reasons’ — whatever you think that is.
