More compensation is set to be handed out in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team soon after EA Sports made another content mistake during the TOTS promo.
EA has come under fire from the FUT Community in recent weeks due to the number of content errors being made in FIFA 23, with the FIFA publisher having already handed out lots of compensation in Ultimate Team due to simple mistakes in-game. From FUT Pack descriptions falsely advertising the content inside to releasing a full TOTS squad early, we've seen it all in FUT over the last few weeks.
And now, an error with the Guaranteed TOTS/TOTS Moment SBC has been taken out of the SBC menus following an error with the Pack.
FIFA 23 TOTS compensation promised following EA SBC mistake
At 6pm BST / 1pm EDT / 10am PDT on June 12, the TOTS or TOTS Moments Upgrade SBC went live in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, giving players the chance to submit an 84-rated squad featuring one TOTS player and a minimum of two 86+ rated players in exchange for a TOTS or TOTS Moments player. The SBC was repeatable, but after many attempts, lots of FUT players took to social media after noticing a big absence from the Pack.
It seemed no one was being given any TOTS Moments players from the Pack, with just TOTS players included instead. And, just under two hours later, EA removed the Pack from the SBC section of FUT before releasing a statement on its @EAFIFADirect Twitter account.
"The TOTS or TOTS Moments Upgrade SBC did not contain the correct rewards and has been temporarily removed from the game," the post read. "It will return later and impacted players will receive corrected rewards in-game in the coming days."
At the time of writing, the SBC is yet to return to FUT 23, and compensation is yet to be awarded. EA has announced compensation would arrive in the coming days multiple times in the past, but this never seems to be the case, with the Community TOTS Upgrade SBC compensation taking three weeks to be awarded.
FUT players will be hoping this latest error can be resolved by the time the highly-anticipated Shapeshifters promo replaces TOTS on Friday, June 16 at 6pm BST / 1pm EDT / 10am PDT.
