The Record Breaker Odsonne Edouard item was incorrectly included in the FIFA 22 Year In Review SBC, with EA giving free player picks as compensation.
On Tuesday, February 1, 2022, EA Sports released the Year In Review SBC into FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, which allowed players to earn a FUT 22 Player Pick which contains 1 of 3 Players that were released through SBCs during all previous campaigns in FUT 22, up until 31st of December.
To complete the SBC, FIFA 22 players will have to submit an 11-man squad with a squad rating of at least 85 and with 55 minimum chemistry. The Year In Review SBC is non-repeatable and will be active until Thursday, February 3, 2022 at approximately 17:59 PM GMT.

However, when the Year In Review SBC was released into FIFA 22, it was reported that a number of players were seeing a Record Breaker Odsonne Edouard item included in their three-man FUT 22 player pick. This item shouldn't have been included in the player pick for this SBC, as this item was released into FUT 22 on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
Just under six hours following the release of the Year In Review SBC into FIFA 22, EA Sports confirmed their error and confirmed that players who were impacted by this issue would receive a replacement player pick.
"Earlier today, the Year In Review SBC incorrectly contained the Record Breaker Edouard Player Item as a potential Player Pick choice for this SBC," EA Sports said via their @EAFIFADirect Twitter account.
"The Item will no longer show up as an option.
"Players who had Edouard show up as one of their options will receive a replacement Player Pick with the correct Player Item pool in the coming days."
But FIFA 22 players rightly pointed out on social media that the inclusion of this item may have had a negative impact on the chances of receiving a strong item reward, with many players calling for more compensation, even ones who didn't see the Record Breaker Edouard item in their player picks.
At the time of writing, EA Sports has yet to amend their compensation, but many players are being vocal about this issue on social media and it would be no surprise to see EA Sports give out further compensation in the coming days.
It's not the first time EA has had to issue players with free items after an error, with free FUT 22 Packs given out after Headliners Aaron Ramsdale was incorrectly listed in packs in January. Also, there were thousands of FIFA players who received free Ice Versus player items after they were wrongly removed from packs during the promo in December.
