Every summer, Madden NFL’s 99 club reminds us who the most dominant athletes in football are. At least one of this year’s inductees was already known to us, but the complete list is finally here.
On Friday, Electronic Arts (EA) officially announced who will be part of the 99 club in Madden NFL 23. Unlike the top wide receiver, edge rusher, running back, cornerback, and defensive linemen lists from earlier this week, there’s no need for us to list overall ratings (OVR) since, well, all of these athletes (obviously) scored 99. Hence the club’s name! Let’s take a look already.
99 club members in Madden NFL 23
- Aaron Donald, RE, Los Angeles Rams
- Davante Adams, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
- Myles Garrett, RE, Cleveland Browns
- Trent Williams, LT, San Francisco 49ers
Most of these names align with some of our (internal) predictions. Not to brag or anything like that, of course! In truth, practically anyone that keeps up with the sport could have come to the same conclusion. But still, we’re taking the win.

As a reminder, EA also revealed the highest-rated quarterbacks and overall team rankings today. So be sure to check those out!
Madden NFL 23 is coming out on Aug. 19, 2022, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. So there are less than four weeks until the game is in everyone’s hands. If you want it a bit sooner, pre-ordering will enable early access, which begins Aug. 16, 2022.
