E4 Married At First Sight UK stars Matt Murray and Marilyse Corrigan go 'Instagram official' as pair posed for loved-up photo after denying romance

Despite marrying different people, on two different series of Married At First Sight UK, Matt Murray and Marilyse Corrigan have found romance with each other off-screen. Rumours have been swirling about the pair's relationship after they went on holiday together last month.

But the loved-up couple now appears to have made things official with a kissing selfie. Taking to Instagram, Matt, who split from Whitney Hughes after they fell in love on during the second series of the marriage experiment show earlier this year, posted a snap of himself and Marilyse cozying up for a kiss.

They could be seen in a bar that has already been adorned with Christmas decorations. Matt was wearing a red long-sleeved shirt tucked into a pair of white chinos with a pair of tan loafers as he leaned in for a peck with Married At First Sight 2021 star Marilyse, whose marriage to Franky Spencer ended after the show.

The personal trainer showed off her sensational figure in a gorgeous sparkling black mini dress which she donned with a pair of dazzling silver heels and her dark locks were pushed over one shoulder as they fell into soft waves.

"Reality TV is not the real world," Matt penned in the caption of the snap on Instagram. "This is. Good came from the bad @marilyse_elena_corrigan_pt." Their rep has also since told Metro.co.uk : "They are both extremely happy and are grateful to all the supportive comments they’ve received so far."

Before Matt's post, Marilyse, 38, posted a series of photos of her with Matt, with the pair laughing and joking as they tried to get a selfie together. While barber Matt, 32, appeared ready to take a cute photo of the pair, his new partner was less than prepared as she moved around with a coffee in hand before eventually getting the perfect image.

Marilyse tagged Matt and wrote alongside the Instagram post: "Got there in the end." It comes after the pair jetted off on holiday together last month– but denied at the time that they were anything more than friends.

Marilyse's representatives hit back at any claims they're an item at the time, saying: "Marilyse has gone to recover from a marathon which she ran for Kidney Research recently and she’s celebrating with her son that it's a year since donating her kidney to save his dad’s life. "Matt has gone to recover from the trauma of the show, as you’ll have seen last night it’s taken a toll on his emotional well-being.

"Marilyse knows oh too well how the public reaction can impact the mental health of the men on the show as she saw how it impacted Frankie. So she’s being nothing more than a supportive friend to him whilst other friends from the show are filming the Christmas reunion."
