E4 Married At First Sight UK’s Kwame on why he really didn't invite Kasia into his home and if he does have a wife

Married at First Sight's Kwame Badu has revealed the real reason he met his wife Kasia London on a bench instead of taking her to his house. Kwame came under fire during the home stay week when he told Kasia that he's a 'private' person and met her in a park instead.

The motivational speaker and business owner later visited Kasia's house for her side of the home stay. As he sat down for dinner with her sisters they gave him grilling about his feelings for Kasia and the decision not to let her into his home during the process.

A fuming Kasia, after consulting with their dinner guests, decided that from then onwards she was 'single' and in an emotional speech she drew an end to their marriage in the final commitment ceremony of the 2022 series. Fans of the E4 reality matchmaking show, which sees couples meet for the first time on their wedding days, took to social media to ask if Kwame might have a secret wife at home.

Kwame has now set the record straight in an interview with Jourdan on Reprezent Radio. "You got a wife in there? what's going on?" Jourdan asked. Kwame laughed and explained: "No. For me the privacy and secrecy wasn't to Kasia. It was to the general public."

Kwame explained that he just wasn't prepared to go back to his house while the cameras were rolling because he has two daughters and he didn't want to reveal where he lived. He said: "The whole context weren't shown in the episode. What was highlighted to her is 'look I'm more than happy to to take you to my property. We can go now, let's jump in an Uber go to my crib right now and I'll show you once the cameras are gone.

"I have two children, two girls. We live in congested London. I don't want people to know. I wanted to keep that back. When I explained privacy and secrecy what I was explaining is for against the general public."

He continued: "There's no way I'm going to go and marry you, you're my wife and I'm not going to show you my place. If it's something which is really a determining factor for you let's get in an Uber and go, I'm five minutes down the road."

On Monday night (October 10), Kaisa took to Instagram to post a batch of their wedding photos but chose to erase Kwame out of the pictures by scribbling over him in red. The beauty salon owner wrote in the caption that Kwame "was never going to be for me" and jotted down a list of what she’d like on her "actual wedding day."

"Mafs is back on our screens tonight on @e4grams @e4mafsuk & I'm rooting for the remaining couples. I LOVE, LOVE," the mum-of-two said. "This 1 was NEVER going to be for me and I'm okay with that. The wedding was a practice run & I've learned what NOT to do next time.

"More importantly, I get to choose everything to it's finest detail when the ULTIMATE REAL BIG day happens." She then went on to detail: "5 things I think I'll need on my actual wedding day."

She wrote: "1. @bereshammond singing a live set of a minimum of 10 songs with his amazing live band. 2. Everything ALL white & gold. 3. My husband will have good taste in clothes and will NOT turn up at the end of the isle in an old man's red suit. 4. A man who is true to himself, hustles just like me, if not even harder and likes to live a 'too blessed 2 be stressed' kinda lifestyle. 5. ALL OF my loved ones in attendance which is very few. I keep my circle very small."
