Holy smokes, CleanTok is going to go wild over this one. Dyson just dropped its first hand-held Car+Boat vacuum to make cleaning up the land of the lost Maccas fries even easier. Engineered to suck up everything from sand and dirt to debris and allergens, the Dyson Car+Boat was made to get into those awkward spaces your regular sucky boy can’t reach.
The new addition to the Dyson family is powered by a motor that spins at 110,000 rpm, so it’s got some serious suction power alongside a runtime of around 50 minutes — which basically just means you can do your whole car (or boat, you bougie thing) in one go.
Beyond suction, it also features an advanced filtration system that captures 99.99 per cent of particles as small as 0.3 microns, including dust, allergens, and even bacteria. How good?!
This level of filtration is especially helpful when cleaning areas like grubby car seats, couches, mattresses or pet beds, which might contain allergy-triggering particles like dust mites or pet dander.
The vacuum design is the most compact, lightweight (1.9kg), and balanced yet. The motor and battery are positioned around the handle for ease of use, especially when you’re in the depths of your car sucking up, god knows, whatever fell behind the seat. Or, in our case, the ten tonnes of sand our cocker spaniel brought home from the beach.
It also comes with some pretty nifty add-ons, including a compact brush bar to remove stubborn dirt and hair and a combination two-in-one brush and wide nozzle for quick switching between tasks. There’s also a precision crevice tool for those narrow gaps in and around your car or those hard-to-reach places around the home.
The Dyson Car+Boat will set you back $449 and is available in-store and online now.
