The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has issued an update to Universal Credit claimants regarding payment dates for the benefit.
As a result of the forthcoming Easter weekend, the dates for some claimants will be moved forward — meaning they will get paid early.
As reported by the Liverpool ECHO, Good Friday this year will be on April 15, with Easter Monday following on April 18.

Claimants whose payment date usually falls on either the 15th, 16th, 17th, or 18th should expect to receive their April sum on the 14th.
Those who do not have a scheduled payment date that falls over the Easter weekend, or who are due to receive their money the following Friday, will see no change.
Another change that Universal Credit claimants can expect to see in April is a rise in their payments of 3.1% as a result of the new financial year beginning.
