People who are due to get a Cost of Living Payment worth £301 have been told they will not receive one for a few days. The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) tweeted that 4.8million households have had the cash boost sent to them in April.
However, in a series of tweets, the DWP confirmed payments will not be made over the next few days. But it has advised anyone still waiting for their payment to not worry, as it will be coming.
The tweets explained that the payments will continue to be made up until May 17 for those who are due to receive it. Ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend, the payments will be paused.
