The Government's new Cost of Living payment scheme has been rolled out across the country this year. Many started to receive payments in the summer. However, the first payments came later for those in receipt of tax credits.
A total of 1,1 million families claiming tax credits started to receive the first £326 Cost of Living payment from September 12.
To get the first Cost of Living Payment of £326, you must have been entitled, or later found to be entitled, for any day in the period April 26, 2022 to May 25, 2022 to a payment of Tax Credits or an annual award of at least £26 of Tax Credits.
