DWP PIP payments could be worth over £600 a month to those with respiratory conditions

There are millions of people across the country claiming support through Personal Independence Payments (PIP). But there are also a number of individuals with certain medical conditions who may not be aware they are eligible.

The financial payment is worth between £24.25 and £156.90 per week, meaning it could be mount up to £627.60 every month. And amongst the eligible conditions are a total of 24 respiratory conditions. This includes illnesses such as cystic fibrosis, emphysema and COPD.

People are have a respiratory condition and need help with either their daily living or mobility needs - or a combination of both components - are eligible to claim, reports the Daily Record.

So, if you or someone in your life suffers from any of the conditions below they could claim for the financial boost.

If you are over the age of 16 and under the State Pension age you may be able to claim PIP to help with a respiratory condition if their ability to work is limited due to symptoms.
