DWP claimants on 14 benefits should have received their payments on Friday, September 16, the Department for Work and Pensions has announced. Friday is the last working day before the Bank Holiday on Monday, September 19, for the Queen's funeral.
The agency says this arrangement is standard procedure for DWP and HMRC. This sees benefits and payment dates brought forward in line with national Bank Holidays.
DWP has announced the full list of benefit claimants who will receive the funding from today. They are:
- Attendance Allowance
- Carer’s Allowance
- Disability Living Allowance
- Employment and Support Allowance
- Income Support
- Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit
- Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Pension Credit
- Personal Independence Payment
- State Pension
- Universal Credit
- Child Benefit/Guardian’s Allowance
- Working Tax Credits
- Child Tax Credits
