The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has issued a statement after people complained about their one-off disability payment not arriving in their accounts.
Millions of people who receive certain disability benefits are to receive a £150 cost-of-living payment from the government. Announced in May, the lump-sum is intended to help disabled people with the rising cost of living and the higher costs they face, such as for care and mobility needs.
It comes on top of other cost-of-living payments totalling £650 for disabled people on low incomes, announced as part of a £37 billion package of support to help people with rising costs.

On Tuesday the government announced that around six million people would start to receive the one-off payment.
However, some people took to social media to share their concerns that the £150 hadn't been paid in yet and worried that their payment had been delayed.
Responding to a tweet by the DWP about the payment a number of people replied saying they had yet to receive the payment - and asked when the money is likely to be paid in.
But a DWP spokesperson told the Manchester Evening News that people who have not yet had their £150 do not need to worry.

They said that the automatic payments would be made from September 20, but that most people wouldn't receive theirs until a few weeks after this date.
Fewer payments than unusual have been made this week due to the Queen's funeral, which was a national bank holiday, the spokesperson said. Last week the DWP confirmed that many benefit payments would be made earlier than usual due to the occasion.
People who usually receive their benefits and credits on Monday were instead paid on Friday September 16, the last working day before the funeral.
On the disability payment, the DWP said: "If you are eligible for the £150 disability cost of living payment, you do not need to contact us as payments are made automatically.
"The vast majority of payments will be made by early October."
