Millions of households throughout the UK will soon benefit from a substantial financial support package intended to help offset the worsening cost of living crisis.
The measures, which were announced by UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak last week, will provide assistance to every household in the country.
As reported by Yorkshire Live, Sunak unveiled £15 billion of support to help those struggling to pay their bills amid the cost of living crisis and the impending energy price cap rise.

In his statement, the Chancellor revealed that £400 will be given to all households to help pay for soaring energy bills, with the previously announced £200 'loan-not-loan' being scrapped.
Additionally, millions of people claiming benefits will also receive further money.
Pensioners stand to receive £300 and there is £150 for disabled people coming this autumn and winter.
Who will be entitled to the £150 one-off payment?
Approximately 6 million people who are on disability benefits will receive the one-off payment of £150.
The money will be transferred "by September" to those who claim any of the following:
- Disability Living Allowance
- Personal Independence Payment
- Attendance Allowance
- Scottish Disability Benefits
- Armed Forces Independence Payment
- Constant Attendance Allowance
- War Pension Mobility Supplement
In order to be eligible, you must be claiming — or have started a claim that is later successful — any of these benefits by May 25.
Many also receive means-tested benefits and will get the £650 above as well.
Payments will be made directly and will be exempt from tax.
Additionally, they will not count towards the benefit cap and will have no impact on existing benefit awards.
