The second cost of living payment will hit bank accounts this autumn.
Over eight million households in the UK have or will soon receive £326 - the first of two cost of living payments. The second instalment of £324 will follow from the autumn, with separate payments for pensioners and disabled people also coming later this year.
Tax credit claimants will receive their first cost of living instalment by autumn with the second coming in the winter. You can get the payment to help with the cost of living if you’re getting certain benefits or tax credits.
