The Rock has thrown his hat in the ring to replace Prime Minister Liz Truss.
Hollywood's Dwayne Johnson has asked Brits if they're "ready for another Johnson prime minister" in an unexpected parliamentary twist.
The popular film star, whose Rock nickname comes from his early days as a wrestler, has even suggested his new government official name.
Speaking at the premiere for his new "anti-hero" superhero movie Black Adam, he said: "Are you ready for another Johnson prime minister?"
Suggesting his political name and offering to help the UK amid a current political turmoil, he added: "Maybe Rock prime minister?"
He told Sky News: "I will tell you this… It's great to be back in London. I will tell you that."
A recent YouGov poll of Tory members found that more than half (55 per cent) think Liz Truss should resign and nearly a third (32 per cent) think outgoing Boris, also Johnson, should come back.
The Rock's recent bid for British political leadership comes after calls across the pond for the US star to run for president in the White House.
"I have seriously considered it. You have to," he told CNN in a recent interview.
"When you start looking at some of these polls, and these numbers creep up into the 46%, 50% of the country would vote for me should I run, and I have been - I've been really moved by that."
Fans have even launched a website, 'The Rock For President', as part of an ongoing plea to get the Hollywood actor to run for the job.
A message on the site's homepage reads: "We seek to convince Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson to come to our nation's rescue by running for President as an independent or as head of a new third party.
"We need a leader who will inspire. A leader who understands adversity, but embodies determination, power, and accomplishment.
"Dwayne can win, he is one of the most popular, charismatic, motivating people in the US, known for his accomplishments as a sports figure, actor, and production company founder.
"As such, he is one of the only people with a strong chance of winning as an independent candidate. Dwayne would be the ultimate uniter. Exactly what we need. Enough said.
"Dwayne Johnson is more qualified than many presidents and presidential candidates in recent history. He is a living symbol of courage, strength, and integrity."
Black Adam is released in cinemas in the UK and Ireland on October 21.
