Dwayne Johnson has often shown he is a devoted dad on social media and now he has uploaded a rare video with his mum too as the pair shared a sweet moment.
The actor, 49, posted the video of him and his mum Ata singing a sweet song at the gravestone of his grandparents in Honolulu Hawaii.
The star, also known as The Rock, was seen sitting on the grass in the sunshine with his mum while she plays a tune on the ukulele.
Before the pair share a song, his mum kindly devotes it to anyone watching who has lost a loved one. She emotionally ends the tune by saying: "Memories are forever mummy and daddy. Love and miss you."
The Hollywood actor then goes on to explain the engraving on his grandparents' stone. He explained: "My mom had engraved 'the ukulele has ended but the melody lingers on. Life is not forever, love is'."
The pair sign off the sweet clip by expressing their love for Dwayne's 300 million Instagram followers.
He explained in the caption how the pair enjoyed a "very special day" before telling how he is a "grateful son".
He wrote: "Got to spend such an awesome mother + son day this weekend with my mom @atajohnson at her mom & dad’s grave here in Hawaii.
"Life moves so fast and you realize how important it is to just slow down, sit here, reminisce and listen to her sing, play her ukulele and tell all her stories."
He continued: "I use the word “mana” a lot to describe spiritual energy & power - and the mana was so strong today. Strong, but calm.
"A little sad at times, but so much gratitude & joy.
"I know you know this feeling I’m talking about when it comes to your loved ones who’ve passed on."
The Rock concluded the post by saying: "Hope you all out there had a great weekend w/ your families and loved ones. "
His words were met with great appreciation by his legions of followers as many took to the comments section to share their own thoughts.
With over 1.4 million likes on the post, American alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn was among those to leave a comment, simply posting two love heart emojis.
Another fan wrote: "Good vibes," while a third said: "Aww so cute."
While fans were loving his latest posts, many were left disappointed at the turn of the year as he admitted he will never return to the Fast & Furious franchise despite Vin Diesel asking him to make a comeback.
Tensions have been high between the acting duo since 2016 when The Rock publicly praised his female co-stars in a gushing Instagram post, but criticised some of the lead male actors in the same breath.
