It’s awfully tough to cover such a tragic situation as the unexpected passing of a guy that had so much still ahead of him. That’s where we are with the shocking death of former Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins after being struck by a dump truck on a South Florida highway over the weekend.
All we can do is to continue to remember who he was as a player and a person and continue to update you on news that continues to surface as we all get through this together. Our hearts continue to go out to Haskins’ friends and family.
One of those close to Haskins is his wife Kalabrya Haskins. It took a while to hear from her through this whole thing (and rightfully so), but she has now broken her silence. She released a statement of gratitude for the outpouring of love and thoughts for her husband and those close to him as they all try to make sense of all of this.

I have absolutely no idea what it is like to lose a spouse, and we can only continue to wrap our virtual arms around everyone involved in a situation that leaves you asking a lot of questions about how it all makes sense.
