Dutch Grand Prix live stream: preview

F1 returns from its mid-season break with a trip to the seaside, though Zandvoort's sun-loungers and nudist bathing sections are unlikely to see much action this weekend. The bucketloads of rain being forecasted should make for a riotously fun Dutch Grand Prix that could bring the best out of wet-weather masters Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton, who are separated by just one point in the standings.

Combine their totals and you'd still be 17 points shy of Max Verstappen's haul, and though the stands will be decked in orange in honour of the Red Bull star, the conditions will be of concern. A greasy surface increases the likelihood of a chaotic weekend, and chaos is about the only thing that can prevent Verstappen from extending his winning streak to a record-equalling nine races.

The driver that looks the likeliest to break Red Bull's stranglehold on the championship is Lando Norris, who's posted two second-place finishes in his last three races since McLaren rolled out its upgrades. The form of his rookie teammate Oscar Piastri has been every bit as impressive, and the 22-year-old Aussie has already demonstrated a talent for thriving in the spray this season.

Alpine enter the weekend without a team principal or sporting director after parting ways with Otmar Szafnauer and Alan Permane in the immediate aftermath of the Belgian GP, so there's a little bit of pressure on Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon to put smiles back on faces.

Most F1 live streams are location-sensitive. So, you won't be able to access your usual service when travelling away from home. A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a small but powerful app that lets you select your preferred location and quickly unblock any F1 live stream – including free streams.

ExpressVPN is our pick of the best VPN services. It's affordable, fast and easy to use. Try it risk-free for 30 days and see for yourself.

How to use a VPN for any Dutch GP live stream
