With just over two months to go until Christmas, many people across Ireland have already started their festive shopping.
With this in mind, Dunnes Stores has announced a major policy change to help in the lead up to Christmas.
The retailer has confirmed that it will extend its returns and exchange policy for item purchased both in store and online.

That means any items bought from the Dunnes Stores fashion or homeware departments from October 15 can be exchanged or returned until January 11, 2023 along with its receipt, Dublin Live reports.
Shoppers buying Christmas gifts are also being urged to ask for a gift receipt that so the receiver has the option to exchange the present for a gift card of the same value.
In a social media post, the retail chain said:"Do your Christmas shopping early this year with our extended returns policy, in-store and online. Items from our fashion and homeware departments bought from 15 October 2022 can be exchanged or refunded until 11 January 2023 with the original standard receipt.
"Items returned with just the gift receipt can be exchanged for a gift card of the same value. Don't forget to ask for a gift receipt when shopping in-store so your loved one can make an exchange if they need to."
