To get fans pumped for the arrival of fantasy-action movie Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves later this March, United International Pictures invites D&D enthusiasts to take part in a fun and exciting cosplay competition. With cash prizes of up to 10,000 baht at stake, the contest is open for registration now to March 24 and competitors can enter either solo or as a team.
For Modern Dungeons & Dragons Cosplay, participants can choose from the following well-known characters: Bard, Barbarian, Druid, Sorcerer, Paladin or Wizard. Their dress doesn't have to be exactly like each character from the movie series; instead they can mix and match as they like.
The contest is a fantastic opportunity for fans to show off their own original costumes and creations, with categories for kids, adults and groups plus lots of great prizes on offer, including 1st-place cash prize of 10,000 baht, 2nd-place prize of 5,000 baht and 3rd-place prize of 3,000 baht. The top three finishers also will be awarded with exclusive Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves gifts and 10 Major Cineplex tickets.
Registered participants will take to the stage and strike their battle poses at the event's final competition held on Saturday at 1pm at Major Cineplex Ratchayothin. The event is open to all nationalities but competitors must present an official document to verify their identity (ID card, driving licence, passport, student card).
Please also note characters depicted by competitors must be based on those appearing in the Dungeons & Dragons games or movie.
