Meanwhile, a Kelty Hearts statement read: "We can confirm that compensation details have been agreed with Dunfermline Athletic that will see Michael Tidser and Kevin McDonald take up the vacant management positions at East End Park.
"We would like to pay a huge thanks to both for their efforts and unwavering commitment displayed in their time at New Central Park.
"Michael Tidser first joined Kelty Hearts from Falkirk in February 2020, as the Maroon Machine attempted to progress from the Scottish Lowland League. Indeed, it was Tids who was to score the clinching goal at Glebe Park to secure a play-off win over Brechin City and to clinch a place in the SPFL.
"As a player Tids made 158 appearances in a Kelty jersey and scored 13 goals. Michael was to step up into the role of Player/Manager in May 2023, succeeding John Potter in the manager's chair.
"Introducing an attractive playing style, popular with the Kelty faithful Tids was in charge of the Maroon Machine on 71 occasions, recording 27 wins and 14 draws in all competitions.
"Kevin McDonald initially joined up at Kelty in July 2021 as Assistant Manager to Kevin Thomson for the club's first season in the SPFL as he helped guide the club to the SPFL League 2 title. Geordie left the club at the end of that season before returning as Michael's Assistant in June 2023.
"Popular with players and supporters alike, Kevin quickly became a popular and well liked face around New Central Park.
"We would like to wish both Michael and Kevin all the very best on their move to East End Park and thank them for the job they have done here at New Central Park. "
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Thomas O'Ware and the backroom team for their exceptional efforts in leading the team over the past couple of weeks. Tam has impressed everyone at the club with his attention to detail and professionalism both on and off the park."
