Hundreds of Dunelm shoppers have been snapping up a portable heater to keep them toasty this winter, with the appliance racking up dozens of stand-out reviews.
Priced at just £14, the DF Fan Heater costs 68p an hour to run according to the Dunelm website and comes with two heat settings, thermostatic control and a carry handle to transport it easily between the rooms of your home. The website explains: "Fan Heaters use an electric coil to create heat and then blow the warmth across the room. They heat small rooms quickly."
Dunelm describes it as "ideal for keeping your home warm this winter" - and shoppers seem to love the nifty heater, with more than 100 buyers leaving five-star reviews for it. Several people praised its ability to heat up a room, while others were surprised at how cheap it was to run.

"Brilliant product," one shopper raved. "Very efficient, convenient and not expensive to warm a room quickly."
Another added: "It’s an inexpensive little heater that heats any room in 15 minutes and is cheaper to run."
"Great fan heater, which warms the room quickly, great value and economical to run!" said a third satisfied customer.
Someone else wrote in their review: "The heater is very light and functions very powerfully, it is small so very portable and easy to store away when not in use, it does the job quite well, when you don’t want to use the central heating you can keep it close to you for quick warmth."
"Small, easy to move and lightweight and heats the room up in minutes," another buyer said. "Ideal for the elderly or people who are struggling with bills I would say, who only want to heat up where they sit and not the whole house if not needed."
Electric heaters have become all the rage in recent months as households attempt to cut down their heating bills amid the rising cost of living. However, experts have warned to check before investing in one that an electric heater will actually end up saving you money.
The Energy Saving Trust warns that electric heaters can typically prove more expensive than main central heating, but adds that they can be useful if you need to heat one room for a limited time and have the benefit of being much cheaper to install than other alternatives. You can work out how much your electric heater costs to run using a handy calculation recommended by Martin Lewis, with appliances costing roughly 34p per kilowatt per hour.
