Dunelm's affordable teddy bedding is saving shoppers up to £70 on heating a week

As the days get colder, it’s becoming more and more tempting to pop that heating on, but with the cost of living at an all-time high, many Brits are looking to switch to alternative heating solutions to keep those bills down.

If you’re fed up with feeling the chill in the night, it may be time to invest in some better bedding, and Dunelmn shoppers are calling this teddy fleece £22 find the ‘warmest and softest duvet set ever,’ with some even saying they don’t need to put their central heating on when snuggled up in it - saving them up to £70 a week.

The much-loved Teddy Bear Feather Soft Marl Reversible Duvet Cover and Pillowcase sets come in four colours - natural, grey, feather blush and navy, and are available in both single (£22), double (£27), and king (£32) sizes.

Just like an Oodie or electric blanket, you can even wrap the duvet around you in the daytime when the temperature drops.

You don’t just have to take our word for it either, as the fluffy duvet sets have received hundreds of five star reviews on Dunelm’s website.

One shopper who described it as 'like sleeping in an Oodie' said: “I was recommended this bedding by a friend. I was dubious at first as I envisaged waking up absolutely cooked but I gave it a go. I can honestly say, getting into bed this week after a night shift to warm sheets that are cosy & soft but not boiling or sweaty has been a real dream. I now have two sets.”

A second delighted shopper wrote: “Bought today as starting to prepare for the cold & lower the heating bills. Incredibly soft, warm & cosy. In fact 20 mins after putting it on the duvet, the cat gave his full approval by bagging his spot! May have to get the fitted sheets to match. Also ideal to use with a summer duvet as a throw on the sofa.”

While a third said: “Would definitely recommend this set! It’s so warm and cosy, great getting into a warm bed within minutes.”

The bedding is machine washable, so you won't have to worry about it getting ruined or going bobbly overtime - however it’s not suitable for ironing.

So, if you fancy saving around £70 a week on heating, you can grab the cosy teddy sets here from just £22.
