Dunelm has launched its Big Summer Sale both in stores and online, offering thousands of home and garden essentials for up to half price.
The retailer, which has stores across the North East including in Newcastle, North Shields, Sunderland and Durham, has slashed prices on thousands of products in the likes of garden and house furniture, bedding, kitchenware, curtains and lighting. The Dunelm website offers free same-day click and collect to your nearest store, or free standard delivery on orders over £49.
One of the highlights picked out by Dunelm for your garden are the Helsinki Loungers, which are now £55.20 for a pair with 20% off. Available in either bronze or teal, the loungers have an overall rating of 4.5 out of five from Dunelm shoppers, with many impressed by what they got for the price.

"Expected a fairly basic chair / lounger but this is fabulous," one customer said in their review. "Very comfortable in chair mode. The mechanism for reclining is brilliance - smooth and effortless. Love them!"
"So comfy and relaxing. Cracking value for the money too. Highly recommend," someone else wrote.
One thing for shoppers to bear in mind if they have their eye on the teal version is that a couple of customers said they are "not quite the colour shown" on the Dunelm website, though this didn't stop them from leaving glowing reviews. If you like the style, you can also opt for a Helsinki Dining Set in bronze with four tables and a chair - however, this isn't currently included in the sale, and will set you back £129.
Another garden highlight picked out by Dunelm in the garden section is the Carousel Parasol, which also has 20% off making it £80 in the sale. The parasol also has a rating of 4.5 out of five from shoppers - one impressed customer said in their review: "Very lovely parasol, great shape and well made - very pleased with it."
"This parasol has added such glamour and style to my outdoor patio... I'm absolutely thrilled with it!" someone else wrote.
"Absolutely beautiful parasol. Lovely quality and looks much more expensive than it was!" a third shopper said. The small number of negative reviews said that their parasol arrived broken - if you receive any item damaged, you can contact Dunelm and are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.
And there are plenty of savings to be had outside of outdoor furniture too - another Dunelm highlight is the Beatrice Velvet 3 Seater Sofa Bed, which has £100 off taking it down to £699. Available in teal, navy or bottle green, the bed has an overall rating of 4.3 out of five stars from shoppers.
The majority of shoppers were big fans of the sofa, praising it as "beautiful", "stylish" and "very comfortable". However, most negative reviews said the same thing - customers claimed that the material "picks up every bit of dust, fluff and hair", which is worth taking into consideration before you buy.
Some smaller items highlighted by Dunelm in the sale include the Apartment Mirror, now priced at £44, Blush Waffle Towels for your bathroom which all come in three sizes and have 20% off ranging from £4.80 to £14.40, and the Amalfi White 12 Piece Dinner Set which has been reduced from £60 to £48. Dunelm isn't the only homeware giant slashing prices ahead of the bank holiday. Both B&M and The Range have also launched huge sales this week, with special offers on barbecues, garden furniture and more just in time for the arrival of summer.
