Dune Jewelry & Co., known for its unique incorporation of sand and earth elements from iconic locations around the world, has recently appointed Kevin Farrington as its new CEO. This move comes as Holly Daniels Christensen, the company's founder & CEO for the past 14 years, transitions to the role of founder & chairwoman.
In a statement regarding the CEO appointment, Christensen expressed confidence in Farrington's background as a senior executive in luxury retail and the cruise industry, highlighting his potential to lead Dune Jewelry into new markets and product categories. Farrington brings with him a wealth of experience, having previously held positions at British luxury watch company Bremont, where he served as vice president of global travel retail and vice president North America. Prior to his time at Bremont, he held the role of senior director of revenue and marketing at PPI Group.
The company emphasized that Christensen's shift to the position of chairwoman will enable her to focus on designing new collections, nurturing relationships with retail partners and the Dune community, enhancing product development strategies, and taking on a more prominent role in events, speaking engagements, and social media.
