Motherwell defender Ricki Lamie has signed a pre-contract with Dundee - who want to sign him before the end of the January transfer window.
Lamie arrived at Fir Park in 2020 and has made 56 appearances for the Steelmen, playing between left-back and centre-back.
His form has upturned when selected this season in particular and he's grabbed two goals and three assists from central defence.
With six months left on his deal in North Lanarkshire, Dundee have moved to snap him up on a pre-contract for this summer.
But they are keen to have him now in their bid to remain in Scotland's Premiership, according to the BBC.
'Well boss Graham Alexander has already lost top scorer Tony Watt to Dundee United in this manner. Watt penned a pre-contract with United before a resolution to see him move on this month was reached.
Lamie hasn't featured for Motherwell since a draw with Hibs at the start of December.
