Celtic scored two goals in five second-half minutes to put the game beyond Dundee United and restore their nine point lead over Rangers at the Premiership summit.
The hosts held on tight in the opening 45 minutes but Aaron Mooy and Jota played major roles in the second period as the Hoops grabbed two quick-fire strikes at Tannadice to take all three points back to Glasgow. First up the Australia international delivered a stunning deep cross to the back post that Jota was on hand to turn home from a very, very tight angle for the opener.
Moments later the goalscorer turned provider as he forced a handball out of Kieran Freeman and following a VAR check whistler Don Robertson correctly pointed to the spot. Mooy made no mistake as he sent Mark Birighitti the wrong way to double the champions' advantage and maintain his 100 per cent record from 12-yards. He scored a superb opener from an Aaron Mooy cross before he won the penalty the Australia international netted.
His tricks and flicks made him a constant menace throughout for the home defence.
When he is on his game he really is a joy to watch and a nightmare for opposition defenders!

VAR was once once again called upon in a major call in first-half injury time.
Don Robertson had originally pointed to the penalty spot after a collision between Mark Birighitti and Kyogo Furuhashi.
After watching the incident back with the video clearly shows the United No1 punching the ball before making contact with the Celtic striker, the whistler overturned his original call.
The right decision made and the technology showing why it can be an asset.
