The Tay Road Bridge was closed today after a HGV got stuck in high winds.
The large, curtain sided vehicle drove onto the crossing in 60mph winds.
There was a car and single-deck buses only restriction in place at the time of the incident.
The driver had to be helped from the bridge because his HGV was ‘in danger of blowing over.’
Tay Road Bridge bosses posted a warning on Twitter after the incident.
It urged drivers to follow their warnings and linked to a list of restricted vehicles and a high windspeed guide on its webpage.
