Have you or a loved one been the victim of a scam in the past year? If you have then Trading Standards Scotland want to hear from you.
They are asking folk who have been targeted by scammers to complete an important online survey.
The results will help structure a national campaign offering safety advice.
The Big Scottish Scam Survey is completely anonymous and only takes a few minutes to complete.
A spokesman for Trading Standards Scotland said: “If you've experienced a scam in the past year we'd love to hear about it - it will help inform future campaigns to help consumers recognise and avoid common scams.
“People across the country are being targeted by scammers, who are taking advantage of their financial worries during the ongoing cost of living crisis.”
And they added: “We want to find out more about the most commonly experienced scams in Scotland so that we can help consumers recognise and avoid them.
“The results of this survey will be used to inform the content of a month-long campaign to be run in September, which will aim to raise awareness of scams linked to the cost of living crisis.”
- The survey is anonymous and can be found here.
