Dundee primary school pupils helping to stamp out racism

Primary school children in Dundee have launched an anti-racism campaign in their community.

Youngsters at Glebelands Primary School have teamed up with the Social Enterprise Academy, Biffa waste systems, Explore Dundee buses and Jigsaw media.

They want to raise awareness pf the impact that racism has on their local communities and educate children on how to deal with racism when they are victims or witnesses.

They are doing this by launching a large scale sticker campaign which will see their own designed stickers placed on over 1000 Biffa bins in the local area, on local busses and in all primary school classrooms.

The stickers feature a QR code that will link to their bespoke website which will be updated with all the relevant information to educate and help primary school aged children and parents on this pertinent issue.

The money they are trying to raise will allow them to roll out their idea to a wider area and get their message out to as many children as they can.
