Motherwell star Ricki Lamie has already signed a pre-contract with Scottish Premiership rivals Dundee for next season - but the defender could be on his way to Dens Park today.
With tonight's 11pm transfer deadline looming, reports suggest Lamie could be on his way out of Fir Park earlier than expected.
The Scottish Daily Express are reporting that Dark Blues gaffer James McPake wants to get Lamie on board now instead of waiting until the summer.
Dundee would need to pay a fee to sign the player before the end of the season and the Express state that they have "made a bid to try and land him today."
On Saturday 'Well gaffer Graham Alexander confirmed Lamie was on his way out but wanted to keep him in the squad until the summer.
Time will tell if Lamie has played his last match in claret and amber.
