Tony Docherty feels Dundee were hard done by in the build up to Rangers' equaliser on Thursday night.
The Dundee manager watched talisman Simon Murray go down demanding a penalty after colliding with Light Blues defender Clinton Nsiala inside the opposition box just seconds before Rangers countered up the pitch and scored through Vaclav Cerny.
Docherty says that he was informed that the incident was checked by VAR, however the clumsiness from Nsiala, who was making his senior Rangers debut, went unpunished.
Hamza Igamane, who managed to dribble his way beyond the remaining Dundee defenders and tee up Cerny to level proceedings.

But Docherty would've liked the VAR officials in Clydesdale House and referee Calum Scott to have taken more time over the incident prior to the ball hitting the net.
“I think it was a penalty, the defender was really clumsy going in on Simon Murray," he told reporters at Dens Park.
"At the time I thought it was really, really clumsy - the fourth official told me they were checking it.
"I was surprised, I thought it was a penalty and I thought they should have taken a bit more time over it.
"We lost our concentration a bit after that for the Rangers goal, but it was an outstanding performance from my team.”
