Dumfries secondary school pupils enjoy success in Scottish Schools’ FA Girls Inter-Regional Tournament

Dumfries secondary pupils Eve Crombie and Skye Copland are celebrating cup success in the Scottish Schools’ F.A. Girls Inter-Regional Tournament.

Eve of St Joseph’s College and Dumfries Academy’s Skye earned their place on the South West Regional team which, as well as drawing players from Dumfries and Galloway, also included girls from schools in Ayrshire and South Lanarkshire.

The South West team, which was undefeated in the competition, won a hard fought final against the South East Region, 2-1 at Toryglen Regional Football Centre in Glasgow.
