Dumfries and District Flower Club held their biennial competitive show, A Floral Affair, at The Bridge on Friday and Saturday.
The public were invited in to see spectacular display of cut flowers and foliage. There were more than 40 exhibits on display along with a plant stall, tombola, sales table, refreshments, mini demonstrations and the chance to have a go at flower arranging.
Show organiser, Jaine Kirby, had been hoping for visitors from far and near to join members for the occasion and they weren’t disappointed, with a good turnout.
