Frequent showers will hit Dublin this evening with conditions looking cloudy and damp.
There will be occasional patches of light rain and drizzle during the day, which will amp up later on tonight. Temperatures will remain mild with daytime highs of 13 to 14 degrees.
Moderate southerly breezes will also develop around the capital. The forecast for this week looks unsettled, with widespread rain continuing through to Tuesday.

The weather predictions for the next few days are below.
Tuesday night
A wet and windy start to the night with widespread rain and fresh to strong and gusty south to southwest winds. The rain will clear eastwards overnight and will be followed by clear spells and scattered showers, mainly affecting the west of the country. Winds will ease in most places but it will stay breezy in the west. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees.
Wednesday
Wednesday will be breezy and blustery with showers becoming widespread and sometimes heavy. Best of the sunny spells will be in the morning. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees with a moderate to fresh and gusty southwesterly wind, strong near the coast.
Thursday
Many areas will be dry with sunny spells on Thursday morning, although there will be showers in Atlantic coastal counties. The showers will spread across the country during the afternoon and will turn heavy at times, but it will become drier again in the evening. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees with moderate south to southwest winds, occasionally turning fresh and gusty.
