Met Eireann has forecast a warm and humid week ahead of us but thunderstorms happening on a daily basis might dampen our plans for going to outdoor events.
According to the national forecaster, today will have a fairly cloudy start with spells of hazy sunshine developing as the day progresses. It will be dry throughout most of the day, unlike the week ahead, but just a few scattered showers are still possible. The warm and humid weather will have highest temperatures of 20 to 24 degrees in mostly light breezes with mist or fog possible at the coast.
The evening will remain humid and it will also be rather misty tonight, with clear spells and just the odd shower. Where the showers do occur, they may be heavy and prolonged. Lowest temperatures will be from 12 to 15 degrees in light, variable winds.
The pollen forecast is high on Sunday and Monday, and the solar UV index is moderate to high.
