Time to break out the sunscreen as Ireland will bake in soaring temperatures soon.
Expert Alan O'Reilly of Carlow Weather has revealed when high pressure will bring glorious sunny spells. He said: "Pressure is still forecast to build next week but it’s a slow process and still could see some showers up to and including Tuesday or longer.
"Temperatures really only expected to climb from Wednesday so patience is required and don’t be expecting blue skies and heatwave soon!"

Today will start with sunny spells but cloud will build from the west through the day bringing patchy outbreaks of rain or drizzle by afternoon or evening. The late evening will see more widespread falls and the highest temperatures during the daytime will be 16 to 18 degrees.
Heavy and persistent rain will clear away overnight and a mix of clear spells and scattered showers will follow. Temperatures will be around 9 to 11 degrees.
Tomorrow will be a mixed bag with sunny spells and scattered showers and we will see some dry intervals later in the day. Temperatures will range from 15 to 18 degrees.
While there is no further forecast for Dublin, here is what the national outlook says:
Saturday night
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Dry in most areas with some lingering showers along western coasts. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in light to moderate westerly winds.
Sunday
"Sunday will be mainly dry for most of the country with some good sunny spells and isolated showers, mostly in western areas. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees in light to moderate westerly winds.
Sunday night
"Dry in many places, along with scattered showers, particularly in the west and northwest, spreading further inland towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in light to moderate westerly winds.
Monday
"Mostly dry with spells of sunshine and isolated showers, most frequent in western parts. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees with mostly light westerly winds."
